Julie Kaplan is a self taught artist.  She has her degree in Music Education and has a private piano studio. When her children went off to college, she started experimenting with acrylics and soft pastels.  Always inspired by nature, her favorite subject matters are serene landscapes and intricate florals.  She grew up in Wisconsin and currently resides in Central Florida with her husband and dog Monty.
