Kate Lewis

Kate Lewis taught and wrote curricula about masterpieces at The Art Institute of Chicago for many years before making the move to set up a studio practice at home while raising her children. After over two decades in Chicago, she recently moved to Tennessee with her husband and four children.

Her paintings are in private collections around the world. Her first illustrated book, Artists In Residence with Chronicle Books is now out in the world and available for purchase. She has a BA in painting from Presbyterian College in SC (go Blue Hose) and a MAAE from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago.
