Caroline considers herself a traditional painter who loves to play with looseness, texture, perspective, and color. As a representational artist working from life whenever possible, her inspiration comes from pure observation of the ordinary world, as an act of wondering and truth-seeking which mark moments of grace. And sometimes she just loves letting paint be paint. Caroline creates out of her home studio in North Carolina where she lives with her graphic designer husband, two littles, and 12 chickens.Â
