Ashley Ozmint is known for her oil landscape paintings that celebrate untouched land and views that shape the south. Ozmint was born in Columbia, South Carolina and graduated from the South Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA focus in graphic design. Ashley is currently based in Asheville, NC where she works immersed in the mountain landscape in her home studio. Taking notes from the Impressionist and Tonalist movements, Ashley seeks to capture emotional reactions from the landscape rather than realistic renderings.
